HPHT Solution Conditioning Pressure Vessels
Shrink fitting process… in the process of pressure vessel liner assemblies, shrink fitting an internal hastelloy pressure vessel liner into a 316 stainless steel pressure vessel body. An external heat source is applied to the vessel body whilst our environmental chamber chills the liner to -70°C, then for final machining when their temperature returns to ambient.
There are two of these 33 litre high pressure, high temperature (HPHT) solution conditioning pressure vessels being produced, one for operating at 300 bar/300°C with the other operating at 172 bar/180°C. These are for one of our long-standing customers, a world-leading specialist aggressive environment testing facility.
