This high pressure gas testing vessel (pictured) was developed for a manufacturing facility specialising in the design and production of high performance seals for every major market segment globally.
The stainless steel 1550 bar (22,500 psi) chamber, designed for testing various types of seals under static and dynamic load applications, whilst at various pressures and temperatures, has recently undergone some modifications for a new seal test arrangement as an additional testing functionality to the assembly.
The seal test vessel sits within its own frame arrangement, which holds and manoeuvers the test vessel throughout the assembly process and locks into position.
The engineers positioned the gas testing system within our below-ground concrete reinforced, fully-enclosed test pit with fully automated pressure control and data logging capabilities for submerged gas testing and subjected the full assembly to high gas pressures to identify any potential leaks.
