More great news! We’re absolutely thrilled with another new order, which provides our team with continued growth and the opportunity of working within the US defence sector.
Working closely with our customer and their procurement partner, our engineers will design a robust, quick-access and easy to handle, manual chock closure hyperbaric test chamber, equipped with customer-specific connections and penetrations.
A 700 bar, (10,153 psi) stainless steel 295 litre, high pressure testing system will include a fully automated pressure and fluid control system, designed and manufactured in line with our customer requirements which will allow for fully automatic operation and control for filling, purging, pressurising, depressurising and draining the hyperbaric test chamber of its test media.
The system will be controlled via a Siemens S7 PLC using our own software that has been developed specifically for pressure testing systems and will have pre-defined customer-specific test profiles that can be performed automatically, also with the ability to carry out one-off tests without the need to create test profiles, with all data recorded for test reporting.
All of our equipment supplied is designed, manufactured and tested in accordance with all relevant standards and legislation, with this high pressure system being supplied in accordance with the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code and ‘U3’ stamped, ensuring our pressure testing systems provide the safest working environment.
We also appoint a single point of contact at the start of the project to co-ordinate all activities and provide regular updates.
Further down the line, our engineers will install the system in the United States along with delivering operator training with a full high pressure system package walkthrough including equipment description, familiarisation and functionality, along with essential pressure system safety procedures, practical activities and demonstrations as part of the site acceptance test.
Again, we’re incredibly proud to have secured this new order, which expands and increases our support within the defence sector technology research and development.
