Our engineers are busy working on producing this 530 bar (7,687 psi) hyperbaric pressure test chamber (pictured).
The test chamber will have a quick-access manual chock closure and is incorporated into a robust tilting system, which will allow the chamber to be tilted up to 45° from vertical in a single direction, accessible by a purpose-built platform.
The pressure chamber was successfully hydro-tested by our experienced pressure test engineers in our KW Pressure Testing facility, along with an inspection by our third-party notified body – Zurich Engineering UK.
This high pressure test system in production is for a new innovative oilfield technology provider who are developing a transformative well plugging and abandonment technology.
The test system is designed for simulating the complexities of the next generation of decommissioning technology and will replicate a full-scale oil and gas wellbore environment, enabling prototype testing in various temperatures and inclinations as well as at higher pressures.
The test chamber has specific ports and penetrations and has been designed to interface with the existing gas booster skid system.
