The high-pressure testing system with its automated fluid control module included a media separator assembly that was located inside the high-pressure vessel working bore.
Pressure control for the system is via the fluid control module that incorporates a clean and ‘dirty’ side; the dirty side containing sand and silt, whilst the clean side is mains tap water.
The design ensures the turbid seawater environment is separated from components not designed for this type of service.
