A temperature control system was designed and commissioned for an existing hyperbaric test chamber, prepared, tested, retrofitted and tested onsite by our experienced engineers.
The test chamber is fitted with a clamp on half-shell fabricated heat transfer jackets (heat exchangers) secured to the parallel section of the pressure vessel. Thermal insulation blankets are wrapped around the OD of the pressure vessel body to help reduce heat loss.
The connecting heat transfer piping from the Temperature Control Units will be routed and installed to suit the positioning of the Vessel. All piping is to be lagged to prevent excessive heat losses and prevent water condensation on pipes.
A thermoregulation control unit with heating and chilling units transfers heating and cooling to and from the high pressure testing vessel by circulating a transferring process fluid through heat exchangers on the external surface of the pressure vessel body.
The temperature control rates are variable and programmable within the required customer specific requirements, pre-defined by the PLC.
