High pressure testing system designed for subsea electronics module (SEM) and subsea electrical coupler research and qualification testing

(Ref: SO517)

The 126 litre, 630 bar (9,137 psi) hyperbaric pressure test system has been custom-designed and manufactured to test subsea control systems and harvest essential test data.

The subsea control systems tested in this hyperbaric pressure test chamber allow for safe and efficient subsea production operations in all climates and water depths including the seafloor to be operated from the surface.

The test chamber has our quick-access breech lock closure with multiple customer-specific connections, ports and penetrations, along with a product change-out basket, support frame and trolley to reduce the operator’s manual handling activities.

This easy-to-operate hyperbaric test chamber has a fully automated control system and is designed to operate with pre-defined programmable functions capable of testing in accordance with customer-specific specifications required for rigorous test regimes.

Our experienced engineers installed and commissioned the system and delivered operator training with a full high pressure system package walkthrough including equipment description and functionality, along with essential pressure system safety procedures, practical activities and demonstrations.

KW engineers carry out an agreed full annual service and maintenance plan which includes a detailed comprehensive service report signed off by our appointed engineers.
