A fantastic new order was received recently from a worldwide leader in producing and developing automotive safety systems for all the major automotive manufacturers in the world.
A series of 1034 bar (15,000psi) high pressure vessel assemblies will be designed and manufactured for long term fatigue life cycles and used in customer-specific hydrogen pipeline systems.
Both ends of the pressure chambers are equipped with a traditional threaded closure along with customer specific ports and penetrations for interfacing and will operate at ambient temperature with a mixture of hydrogen, argon and helium gases.
The pressure vessels will be subjected to oxygen cleaning for their intended service in oxygen-enriched environments for a European based production facility.
The pressure vessels will have their hydrostatic pressure test carried out in our KW Pressure Testing facility, witnessed and inspected by KW’s third party notified body, providing essential documentation for us and our customer.
