High Pressure Testing Systems Closure Evolution
Since 2004, our team of engineers have provided high pressure testing systems for industry and research facilities, supporting the energy sector, subsea engineering, materials research, universities, nuclear, and scientific centres globally.
Through establishing strong working relationships with existing and new customers we have designed and developed an advanced range of high pressure hyperbaric test chambers with quick-acting closures, simplifying and accelerating accessing high pressure testing vessels more safely, easily and faster.
From the traditional bolted and threaded high pressure vessel closures to our more advanced quick-acting closures such as our KWik-Lok closure.
Our KWik-Lok closure is robust in design, providing quick and easy opening and closing functionality of the high pressure testing vessel, at the push of a button, using electrically actuated integrated tilting chocks, safely and securely locking the closure plug into position.
The closure comes with a guidance system for alignment with the high pressure vessel and attachment points are also included on the underside of the KWik-Lok closure for attaching the device under test.
Our fully automated KWik-Lok closure high pressure testing systems have ranged from Ø500mm to Ø2500mm bore with depths of 500mm to 8000mm, with volumes from 100 litres to 40,000 litres.
These types of systems have been designed for world-renowned manufacturers of buoyancy products for full-scale Instrumented Buoyancy Loss testing and for various advanced subsea technology manufacturers around the world.
