Several rear insulating sleeves manufactured out of mild steel were subjected to hydrostatic pressure testing recently by our test engineers.
The components were placed into one of our safe and secure test cells and water was introduced to the space between the inner and outer layers of the tubes. Once the water was purged, pressure was applied and carefully increased then held for a period to validate the product after fabrication and machining.
The components have been manufactured by Lyndhurst Engineering, precision engineers whose capabilities cover the complete engineering process from initial research and development to manufacturing, installation and inspection.
