Destructive testing is carried out to test a specimen’s performance or material behaviour, when subjected to different levels of pressure. It is used as part of the design and qualification process, to determine the point at which the product fails under pressure. This is used to confirm that the design pressure of the component or assembly has been correctly calculated.
KW Pressure Testing has a custom-built, state-of-the-art, in-house testing facility, where our highly-skilled team will conduct destructive testing by applying either internal or external pressures to determine the point at which a product fails.
This will assist customers by reducing product failure, preventing accidents and ensuring compliance with regulations.
This is achieved by carrying out either Burst Testing or Hyperbaric Collapse/ Crush Testing.
