Hydrostatic Fluid Control Service Module

 

We can provide service modules to control all spects associated with filling, pressurising, pressure control, controlled venting and draining of a pressure vessel.

A service module would be controled from a remote station. The stations can operate either via manual push buttons/switches, digital process controllers, PLC or Human Machine Interface with automated programmable cyclic testing. We can tailor make complete systems to match your exact requirements.

The unit shown is used to pump low pressure hydraulic oil from a header tank at 10 litres / minute. A pneumatically driven hydrostatic pump then pressurises system to 690 bar (10,000 psi). The decompression rates is variable. The unit will also control pressure due to change in temperature when long term testing.

This unit is a simle example. We can provide service modules up to 2,000 bar (29,000 psi), suitable for vessels up to 1000 litres.

We can provide service modules with the following features:

  • Electric or pneumatic low pressure fill pumps.

  • Low pressure fill/drain facility.

  • Vessel overflow sensing/indicators.

  • Cyclic pressure control following pre-programmed recipes.

  • Programmable pressure ramp and vent rates.

  • Safety interlocking systems.
