Autoclave Vessels – HPHT Autoclaves

KW Designed Solutions Autoclaves are used in both medical and industrial laboratories, however, the HPHT Autoclave is more commonly associated with industrial applications operating at high pressure and temperature, utilising a large quick access closure for loading and unloading.

Whilst many Autoclaves are typically of the non-stirred type (with no agitation), in many cases our clients require the additional functionality of a stirrer to agitate the internal media and/or to provide even temperature distribution of the testing media within the test environment.

KW Designed Solutions Autoclaves are supplied with internal diameters of 100mm to 400mm, volumes between 1 litre to 500 litre, with operating pressure of up to 2000 bar (29,000 psi) and temperatures up to 325°C.

Our Autoclaves are generally manufactured from exotic type materials such as Hastelloy, Inconel or Titanium, but in some cases carbon, alloy or Type 316 stainless steel can be deemed satisfactory and sometimes a lesser expensive steel may even be lined with a more exotic steel.   Due to the extremely corrosive environment it is very important that the material of construction is specifically chosen to ensure the Autoclave can operate with minimal or no effects throughout the duration of the test.

KW Designed Solutions offers a flexible approach to the design process which allows us to incorporate any of the features required by our customers for their Autoclave Vessel(s).  Where other supplier’s standard equipment does not quite meet the operating criteria or may need modification at additional cost, we can design to customer’s exact specifications, incorporating all the features and functionality required whilst minimising costs and lead time.
