Breech Lock Closure Pressure Vessels

The KW Designed Solutions Breech Lock Closure Pressure Vessel utilises one of our most robust quick-acting closures.  The Breech Lock Closure is an innovatively engineered closure, robust in design, allowing the operator to rapidly open or close the pressure vessel with a simple 1/8th to 1/16th turn of a handle.

The slim-line nature of the breech lock closure allows the body of the pressure vessel to remain slender and parallel providing the benefit to easily retro-fit Heat Transfer Jackets to the OD of the pressure vessel.

Used in the vertical orientation these pressure vessels have a small footprint and allow the DUT to be attached to the underside of the closure, reducing the amount of manual handling required.   Our Breech Lock Closure Pressure Vessel can also be used in a horizontal orientation with the addition of vessel and closure support frames incorporated into the design to ensure closure alignment to the pressure vessel body is maintained.

KW Designed Solutions Breech Lock Closure Pressure Vessels are supplied with operating pressure of up to 2000 bar and temperatures range from -50°C to +300°C.

This pressure vessel was developed to carry out qualification, FAT or production testing of guided drilling tooling and equipment. The design allowed for elevated temperature testing to be carried out whilst also allowing quick entry into the vessel to access the device under test within minutes.
